Our Story

A forty-mile shop in a four-thousand-mile world.

KEPT started as a stall at the Durham farmers' market in 2023 — one folding table, twelve bars of soap, and a rule we still keep: if we can't visit the person who made it, we don't stock it.

Nearly everything in the shop is made within forty miles of Parrish Street. The exceptions are printed on the tag, with the reason why.
